May 2, 2016: Edmonton to Koblenz
…And we’re here! Leaving from Edmonton International Airport, the group met around 10:15 am. Some of the group went to Chilli’s to grab a bite to eat and have a drink in the Calgary airport to refuel and to meet new friends. After travelling for many hours by planes and a bus, we arrived at our hotel in Koblenz around 2:00 pm. When we arrived in Koblenz, we were exhausted but pushed through and many people went out to explore the town and try to get SIM cards for their phones.
There are many beautiful buildings, churches and castles here!
For dinner we went to a lovely “Italian” restaurant called Remo’s down the street from our hotel. Most people ordered pizza, which were huge! There is a picture of Patrick holding up part of his folded in half pizza slice.
Once everyone had eaten and relaxed, we went our separate ways. Most people were probably going to end up in bed early in order to get up for our next day at WHU, a German Management University.
